You Lead Me Home

"In A Heartbeat" Silent Company's Latest, Most Poignant Release; Earns Bronze Songwriting Award

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, CA (April 5, 2016) - Silent Company has reached a milestone with this latest release, "You Lead Me Home". The duo has completed all the songs for its 2016 album, slated for release later in the year. In this latest release, we see that life is difficult, different, deceptive at times. We've all had times of doubt, wondering where and how this grand adventure will play itself out. And if, or when, we'll meet, or be reunited with, those in our lives that make a difference. That matter.

Silent Company's latest release asks the age old questions: how long do we have, and when we leave this plane of existence, who will be waiting for us? Bee's strong vocal performance lends a melancholy delivery to a subject that most have felt, and feel, with that exact emotion. The cello and violin are brought once again to the forefront, and the ES-339 once again adds the clean, smooth feel to the song's bridge. Video footage is provided by "A.I.: Artificial Intelligence", directed by Steven Spielberg, and perfectly portrays this tune's sense of confusion, loss, and ultimately, redemption. A strong track from start to finish, this is a though-provoking and emotional piece. Enjoy the moods, and the feelings, this one is sure to inspire.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Believe (Walk On Water)Silent Company Releases "Believe (Walk On Water)", Most Heartfelt To Date

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, CA (November 10, 2015) - With the release of "Believe (Walk On Water), Silent Company speaks to the lost and lonely in all of us.

Into each life a little rain must fall, goes the saying. But what if one's entire life is nothing but dark clouds with no silver lining? What do we hold on to? What do we reach for, to make things whole again? In a poignantly personal song, Silent Company says to each and every one that there is something out there; a hope, a better way, if all we do is believe that it will come to us, and keep the hope in our heart of hearts. Belief, and the chance that we take in exercising it, can bring us all to our heart's desires: peace, love, fulfillment, destiny.

In a radical departure from most of their other offerings of late, this very nearly zydeco-inspired track has a mid tempo rhythm that draws the listener along, a string grouping that is haunting at times, melodic for sure, and uplifting in the best of ways. Bee and Edd are in full on duet-mode, with a Shakespearean-type chorus, speaking one's conscience along the way. Bee's Epiphone takes a complete break on this tune, but the strings, piano, and a walking beat more than make the song. We all have hard times, even hard lives, but belief, and our eternal desire to see its manifestation, can turn everything around. Just believe, and you will see...

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

"In A Heartbeat" Silent Company's Latest, Most Poignant ReleaseIn A Heartbeat

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, CA (October 1, 2015) - Silent Company has released it's latest, and possible most poignant track to date, "In A Heartbeat". The song details the fact that many of us don't really consider how quickly our lives can change. A lost paycheck, bad news from the doctor, a 3:00 a.m. phone call from the police...a war in one's own backyard. Things that we have no say in. Such is the situation all over the world, every single day, for thousands. They find themselves the victims of circumstances beyond their control. How do you cope? Where do you go? Who do you ask for help, when the rest of the world is either ignoring your pleas, or is oblivious to the real need for help.

"In A Heartbeat" started out speaking to one issue, the latest influx of refugees to Europe from Syria and points beyond, but turned into a hard look at what any of us would do in the same situation. With a jazz-ish overlay to the intro with its accompanying rhythm section, a strong overall performance by the cello and violins, and a musical "breakout" in the second half on the track, the listener is taking a musical journey into the "what if" of life. Bee's haunting lyrics, along with his and Edd's spot on vocal delivery make this song one that stays with you, and, if not leads, then guides the listener into contemplating how we should treat people when they are at their most desperate.

Indeed, belief in our humanity is what will save us, deliver us...all in a heartbeat, if we let it.
